LYN FALCONER

Lyn has worked as a music teacher, theatre director and choir conductor. She has also been active in playing other instruments and joined the Symphonic and Community
Orchestras along the way.

Being part of musical productions in the amateur theatre world in NZ, either in the orchestra or as
musical director, onstage or backstage has taught Lyn a great deal about group situations and a love
for all things creative.

Lyn has played in a covers band for about 10 years doing local gigs and feels this aspect of music is so
important for a musician’s development. It builds confidence and maturity along with an ability to
roll with the flow.

She is currently exploring work in the Musical Therapy area as music has a very powerful healing aspect.
