We encourage our students to take part in the Trinity College exams (either classical or 'Rock & Pop' depending on what style is preferred) as this gives them an internationally recognised music qualification.  At Napier Music Academy, we mentor our students towards sitting for Trinity exams. We do understand that exams aren't for everybody though, so not all students participate. 

These exams are offered by Trinity College London (www.trinitycollege.co.uk), an international exam board that has been providing assessments since 1877.  Each year, over 600,000 candidates in over 60 countries take a Trinity assessment. Trinity assessments are designed to help students progress in their musical journey by marking their achievements at each stage of their development and all levels of competence.  The exams focus on assessing skills and how effectively the candidates can apply what they have learnt.

Currently, we are offering Trinity exams (classical or Rock & Pop) in Singing, Piano, Guitar and Bass Guitar.
