SAM DRAPER

Sam’s passion for music was sparked at a young age when he received his first guitar. What began as a love for music-based video games like Guitar Hero quickly evolved into a desire to master the real instrument. This early blend of fun and discipline laid the foundation for a lifelong connection to music. Over time, Sam developed a deep appreciation for singing and theatre, performing lead roles in numerous stage productions in Waipawa, Hastings, and Napier.

 

At age 22, he attended the New Zealand Singing School, where he discovered the profound joy and fulfillment of teaching. This experience inspired a rewarding career shift from hospitality to music education, where he now shares his knowledge and enthusiasm with aspiring performers
